The Kawartha Art Gallery is delighted to present a special Artist Network event meet David Cowdery, Business Advisor and Program Manager for LAUNCH Kawartha!

From years of experience in the business sector David has developed the program, stART-up. A program specific to the needs of artists in the running of a successful business, stART-up merges artistic passion with entrepreneurial savvy, empowering creatives to navigate the complexities of running a successful art business.

This workshop equips freelance artists with pricing strategies, client management skills, and insights into artistic value propositions and market forces, using Lean Canvas principles tailored to their landscape.

Participants gain a deeper understanding of how these principles apply to the art world, enhancing their business acumen to thrive independently in the creative economy.

These informal get-togethers are a chance for local visual artists to meet, network, and share ideas. 

You do not need to be a KAG member to attend! We wish to create a welcoming, safe space for diverse artists from all backgrounds and skill-levels to come together. Refreshments will be provided!
